Facility & Amenities

In the hustle and bustle of wedding planning we think you should be more focused on more important things than renting tables. That’s why our venue rental includes all the basic amenities and a couple of extras too! Poplar Hill will provide enough tables and chairs with optional cocktail tables to accommodate your entire party. We have indoor handicap-accessible restrooms which we continually keep up the day of your event. There is ample convenient on-site parking.
As an added benefit we allow the wedding party the use of our Carriage House which includes a bridal suite, private bath, kitchen and sitting area.

The Ceremony

Your big day can go by so quickly, don’t waste unnecessary travel time, you can have your ceremony and reception all in one place. Our scenic grounds and barn lend themselves wonderfully to ceremonies. Whether you choose outside or inside the Poplar Hill staff will provide the chair setup and take down as well as a decorative arbor as an altar.

Photographs

One of the most important things when planning an event is planning how to remember it. Photographs are integral to a successful day and many couples will go as far to waste hours traveling to photographic destinations. When choosing Poplar Hill there is no need to leave. Our picturesque landscape is a photographer’s playground! We have it all- wooded areas; fields; gardens; vintage architecture! We encourage you send your photographer prior to the wedding as there are too many photo opportunities to observe the day of.

The Party

Poplar Hill Estate is where to get your party started! Our barn will host 150 guests comfortably. For larger parties up to 250 tents can be added upon a blacktop surface. Our lofts allow for versatile and unique table setup to fit your individual needs. Our centrally located wet bar is open at three sides allowing for quick access to bartenders and beverage requests. We have a separate prep kitchen area for your caterer’s use. There is a designated DJ loft allowing the DJ to overlook the dance floor and be out of the way. As a permanent fixture of our barn we have decorative bistro lighting for added ambiance which sets the party mood and of course there is the ever important dance floor!
